Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood writer and actress who's talent has brought her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius. She was born at the age of 3 in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the oldest of three siblings. She was born to Peter Moore Smith who was a paratrooper. The mother of her child Anne is a psychotherapist. She's English and Scottish. Moore was a struggle due to the fact that her family was always moving due to her dad's job. Moore began acting in plays when she moved with her family to Germany. Her education continued at Boston University where she graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. In 1983 she graduated with the degree of B.F.A. Moore made the move into New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway stage. In 1985, she made her debut on stage for the first time in The Edge of Night. She took on in the roles of Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her break. The show ran until 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. The year 1990 saw her debut cinematic appearance was in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The movie was later criticized as a poor budget production. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The first was critically-acclaimed and earned her a number of nominations for the film. Moore was her first major part in Safe(1995). Steven Spielberg, who was the director of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, and one of that year's biggest earning films, chose Moore as the lead actor. She received the SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. The Hours starred Moore in 2002, and was nominated for nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Additional films Moore was a part of include The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) and Shelter (2010). Non-Stop premiered in 2014. Moore has appeared in numerous films and TV shows. Recently, she was featured as the lead in When You Finish Saving The World (2022). In Hollywood, she has also established herself as a writer for children. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and became an N.Y.T. bestseller. This best-seller was turned into a movie, a series, and even into a musical. The year 2013 saw her release Her Mom is a Foreigner. A well-respected author and actress, Moore's personal life is public domain. She married John Robin in 1984 and they divorced in 1995. Bart Freundlich has given her two kids. She later married him in 2003. Moore's entire life revolves around colleagues, friends and family.
