Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city located outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sibling and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather immigrated into the United States from Portugal.



 From the age of a child, Kelly Nash was a enthusiast of the Miami Marlins. Although Nash was always interested in sports, she always dreamed of being a news anchor. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications as well as Media Studies. In 2009 she graduated from Clemson University with a Master's in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for covering the Sports Information Department's teams of Soccer and Baseball She was also awarded full athletic scholarships by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, can be seen on multiple shows including Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights program. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015. In 2015 she began her contribution to the NHL Network.
